History Of DreamHome

“Dreamhome” guesthouse in Chiang Dao is a family-run business, which started in 2014. Our family has been living in the region for a long time and Dreamhome is situated in a calm area called Chiang Dao in the north of Thailand around 1 ½ h north of Chiang Mai. The reason our family started Dreamhome is that we in the first place wanted to comfort travelers in our small guest houses and help them connect with nature. To do that we can take full advantage of our spacious land in the beautiful mountainous area. Did you know that Chiang Dao is home to the third highest peak (Doi Luang) in Thailand?

If you take a look at our logo, you may see the sign inside it. This spiral reflects the first letter of our family name in the Thai language “o ang”. In this way, we decided to represent our guesthouse as a family business and to make our logo more meaningful.

Furthermore, Dreamhome also wants to be more than just a guesthouse. Here, our visitors can experience some activities in the area and feel themselves part of a family. For example, our family owns a fruit farm, which is very appreciated by the guests. To make you feel at home, you are allowed to pick fruits from the trees anytime.
